Mule deer numbers in the Cowboy State continue to slowly rebound from long term, gradual population decreases since the late 90s. And although overall population numbers remain below objective in many regions of the state, the 2016 deer hunting forecast recently released by Wyoming Game and Fish is generally optimistic.
